February 4, 2010--I love her baby blues!
Finally after so long of being sick, she has life back in her eyes again. I missed my little girl!
February 6, 2010--This girl loves to play!
Right now she is loving her milk and cookies toy and goes around putting EVERYTHING into that milk container. I love watching her determination trying to fit big things into the container.

We are not huge pro-football fans, but since we live in Indiana, if we were to pick any professional team to watch, it would be the Colts! Go Colts! Luckily this outfit in 2T will definitely fit her next year too. Thanks for the cheerleading outfit Uncle Andrew, Aunt Shell, and Ethan!

It makes my heart sing to see the man of my dreams loving on our beautiful daughter. The love this amazing man has for his daughter is incredible. How did I get so lucky! I can't believe it has been 7 years!

February 10, 2010--Pants on the Head!
I love being silly with Madelyn and making her laugh. She is one goofy little girl who loves to have a good time. She cracks me up! This was during our little "Pants on the Head" song and no, it's not like the "Pants on the Ground" song.

Daddy did such a nice job dressing Mady today, I just had to show it off! I love that he spends so long agonizing over his choice of outfit for her to wear. He loves his little girl looking cute as can be!
**LOTS from February 14, 2010 because I couldn't choose just one!**
We've been teaching her some domestic tasks around the house...haha! She knew exactly what to do with this as soon as we gave it to her. She was right at eye level to hunt down all that dust. What a great helper!
Valentine's Day was our day to clean. Mopping Mady!
Pretty girl + bad lighting/photographer = OK picture!
Happy Valentine's Day and Happy 80th Birthday to my grandma (Joyce Carolyn--who Mady has her middle name from)!

Weekly grocery shopping with mom and dad. Man that cart was heavy!
It has been a little crazy here in our household this month with Mady's illness and all. Her ear infection seems to have gotten better, but we have a recheck tomorrow to see if all is still ok. She has been cutting the rest of her molars which have really been painful and frustrating to her. She is biting on everything including her dear old mom...ouch! I've actually been able to be at school the whole week for the past few weeks without needing to take time off to care for a sick little one. Hooray! I wouldn't trade that time for anything, and I am fortunate to be able to get that time to take care of her when she needs her Mommy the most.
Things at school have gotten a lot better. I was kind of in a slump because I was sad about not being able to be home with Mady every day like I would be able to if I was a stay at home mom. I have come to the realization though that I don't think there will ever be a time when I wouldn't rather be a stay at home mom and spend every day raising my babies at home, but for our situation and our family, it is the best thing to work. We have the best possible situation any working parent could ever ask for. Ryan's mom, Janet, watches Madelyn every day. Mady loves it there so much, and it has been incredible to see the strong bond that this granddaughter and "Mimi" have together. Mady gets so excited as soon as we pull in the driveway every morning. She never sheds a tear! Knowing that she is in loving arms all day makes it so much easier to go to work each morning. Since I do need to work to help to provide the best for our family, I am blessed to have a job that I absolutely love. There are times in teaching of frustration and times where the kids can drive me absolutely crazy, but all in all the joys way out number the rough times. I absolutely love watching these kindergarteners learn and grow every day. They are amazing! So if I can't be home with Mady, there's no place I'd rather be.
February started out with a bang and has progressively gotten better as the days have gone by. March is around the corner, which means Spring will be here soon...hooray!
