Snow Day!

Last Wednesday and Thursday we had our first two snow days caused by a huge blizzard! It was so fun to get a mid-week break spent indoors with our little family. It came at the perfect time because the night before the storm Mady had to go to the doctor after having a fever for 6 days (one day it did go down) and was diagnosed with a double ear infection. Boo! So we didn't let her go outside to enjoy the snow but we had fun inside.

We made snow cream for the first time: She didn't like it too much and spit it back in the bowl. Maybe my proportions were a bit off. Oh well!

We also had a great time fingerpainting...

And coloring...It was a great couple of snow days!
